Mafiz - Handcrafted Impressions

All products I make after order and payment for each customer individually.
My window decoration has a German patent and is my invention. Also my wrap-arm warmers are my invention.
Behind Mafiz is my family. I come from a family of artists. My father paints and both parents help me with special felt works. Mostly big commissions. That's why we came up with the Mafiz label.
I live in the village. Here I have everything I need to be creative. We live in a 3 generation house. My parents, my two girls, my husband and me.

I love felt. It's a physically demanding but spiritual work. Felting is addictive, in a pleasant way. It is wonderful to handle the soft wool and soap. They are caresses for the soul.
I am always surprised what beautiful things are made of felt. The special properties of sheep wool still fascinate me. Soft wool, cooling in summer, warming in winter. I also love the smell of sheep's wool. I get the wool from the organic farmer in our village.
